Due to the rise of VR devices in gaming, there has been more attention to the phenomena of Simulation Sickness, where a player feels sick after interracting with a virtual environment, such as that found in a game. VR is most notorious for producing these effects, but it can occur with or without VR. This talk will look at basic game design guidelines that, based on research, should help developers to reduce the risk of simulation sickness and make their game more accessible to wide range of players.
